Just saw a Virgin Airlines commercial using Muse’s “Feeling Good.” Not sure how to feel about it. Wouldn’t like to witness Muse turning all CSI on the world, but this Muse song was used before by Nescafé for their advertising campaign. According to Wickipedia, without the band’s permission. Nescafé replaced it with the Nina Simone version. Muse were subsequently paid settlement money, which they donated to Oxfam.
Feeling Good” is a cover. A classic song written by Anthony Newley and Leslie Bricusse for the 1964 musical The Roar of the Greasepaint—the Smell of the Crowd, and many artists have already covered it.
Maybe it is being used without Muse’s permission again. It being Virgin … I doubt it.

The longer one begins to look at this kind of information you may begin to realize, that many of what we consider in this “patriot” movement are in fact, actually exposing us to certain ideas and memes repetitively. This is especially valuable in the music industry where we watch and replay the visuals and lyrics over and over again. If you read, see and expose yourself enough to the very same information, in time it takes away the shock value, or lets say the novelty value of it. By the time the thing itself happens and manifests you have lost the normal human instinct to act. Basically what im trying to illicit here is that the “OH SHIT” factor that would normally have you taking to arms in the streets has been worn away from you over time. You’re too busy watching, reading and listening about the contrived reality show of the New World Order and the “revolution” to do anything about it. By the time it comes smacking you in the face you have been acclimated to it and it’s too late. You have to understand that playing both sides of the chessboard are the specialty of those who sit above the reality the rest of us are indoctrinated with. Anyways, this is pretty much how I feel about MUSE. If you are a fan of sites like Vigilant Cittizen and understand what I have just explained above, then you can put the dots together. If you know what to look for then the obvious jumps right out at you. If you want to get out of the cage you are in and really start making a difference rather than spinning your minutes away reading about the conspiracy and actually begin to make moves to counter their own, check out this video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Xbp6umQT58A Good luck to you ~R~
