Has Miley “Ruined” Radiohead Yet?
It’s all very Diva.
It’s been almost two weeks since Miley Cyrus threatened to “ruin” Radiohead, exposing them as meanies.
Radiohead (or Vocalist Thom Yorke) declined to meet Miley at the Grammy Awards because they were preparing for a performance. Not sure how Radiohead prepares for a rock performance in their dressing room — pretty Diva-like — but, okay, fair enough. However, Miley was insulted — counter-Diva move — and claimed she was going to use her clout to ruin the band, expose them as, sniff, mean people (extremely Diva-like).
Then Yorke, hit the pres and told Miley to “Grow up.”
The whole thing’s ridiculous, so ridiculous that I’m wondering how Miley is doing on her campaign so far. Has Radiohead’s popularity gone down a notch? Are Miley fans burning Radiohead albums in their backyards and/or deleting their mp3s from their hard drives? Will people decide to pay less when Radiohead’s next Pay-What-You-Want album comes out? Will we be saying “Radiohead Who?” in five years time?
Is there a Miley factor?

Do Miley fans even listen to Radiohead? Hell, do they even know who (or what) Radiohead is?
Radiohead said that they don’t do that “meet and greet” stuff with anyone. They weren’t singling out Miley Cyrus for a diss. I guess she took it personally. Whatever.

I heard the interview where she said that and she was kinda laughing when she said “I’m gonna ruin them and tell everyone.” in a jokey kind of way, not like she was seriously making it a mission or anything. She was actually at first not going to name the band that did it, but the radio people kept pushing her. Now that I know about this, they are a little ruined for me, ’cause I didn’t think they were that great to begin with, and now they’re publicly picking fights with 16 year old girls, telling them not to act so “entitled”, just because they wanted to say hi to their favorite band when they were in the same place at the same time? I think Thom Yorke is the one who needs to “Grow Up”.

Haha! I realise this post is a little late in the day but i only just found this feed whilst clicking through sites and i’m fairly sure it is the most hilarious story i have ever heard! I think the only fair way to settle the dispute is a fight to the death between all of Radiohead and the whole Cyrus family! It would be epic!
