Bruce Dickinson About To Release His Aleister Crowley Opus On DVD

I can hear Ozzy now: Mister Crooooooowley. Dum Dum Dum

It wasn’t enough that Ozzy Osbourne wrote a song about him, or Jimmy Page was strangely fascinated by him, the vocalist of Iron Maiden had to write a movie about the legendary “magician,” too.

Unceremoniously released to the world in theaters in May, the movie, Chemical Wedding, will be released on DVD in America early next year.

I, for one, won’t be watching it. Even if Bruce Bruce wrote it.

I never really cared about anything Crowley ever had to say. But if I had to learn anything from reading about the Dickinson movie is that L. Ron Hubbard was a friend of Crowley (and L. was said to conjure up spirits himself). I find that interesting.

Other than that, can rock stars drop the obsession with Aleister Crowley? Enough already.
