axl rose stars as captain of the titantic
the new york times has a review up of “chinese democracy” written by jon pareles. this review makes a lot more sense than the previously posted one by klosterman. in it pareles equates the album to the sinking of the titantic, notes that the release of this album and it’s hype is an old school event, and questions if the album is demented. once you listen to the album, it’s easy to relate to pareles writing on this shipwreck.
