English Media on Wild Manhunt for Gary Glitter

Fallen glam god, Gary Glitter, went into hiding after returning to England from Vietnam. But now the media has tracked him down (with a new look, right) and following him like some above-the-law Sex Offender’s Tracking unit. It’s almost as bizarre as Glitter’s own past behavior.

It’s gotten so bad that The Sun has a post:

There was an altercation already with the press when following a disguised Glitter to a grocery store. The Sun, for one, needs to let the law do its job. The guy is already on the Police’s watch: aka the Sex Offender’s Register.
