The Video For The Verve’s Stellar Comeback Single, “Love Is Noise,” Is Now Up On You Tube

While the reunions of quite a few bands have beggared the question “Why did they bother?”, the reformation of the UK band The Verve has resulted in what is probably the finest song of their career. Titled “Love Is Noise,” the track will be released as a single in the UK on August 3rd. The song is also a track on The Verve’s upcoming album, titled Forth, which is due to be released in America on August 26th. (The album will drop the previous day in the UK.)

The video for The Verve’s “Love Is Noise” can now be seen on You Tube. Or you can watch it by simply clicking below:

So what do you think? Is “Love Is Noise” the best song The Verve have ever done, or what? Comments are welcomed.

  1. I always liked that song, “We Were Only Freshmen.” I hope they still play that live.

  2. No, it is not. It is an amazingly contagious song and Ashcroft’s singing is stellar but to call it the best song they have ever recorded is quite simply just hype. I have listened to the whole album and it is an amazing piece of work, more in the vein of A Storm in Heaven mixed with Ashcroft’s solo efforts. I saw them live two months ago and the ten year hiatus has not taken anything away from them.

Hawk: There always has to be one of you around for people to make fun of because they think they are so funny. Kudos on your naiveness.

  3. And I need idiots like you to make fun of, and with a name of Kelpe, I’m sure you got your fair share of ribbing.
