Pearl Jam Almost Steal Show at VH1 Rock Honors

No one can ever upstage The Who (who the show tributed), but the two song live tribute by Pearl Jam was fantastic. Their rendition of Quadrophenia’s “The Real Me” was absolutely amazing. Eddie Vedder fit right into the Daltrey vocal style and the band tore right through one of the most angry and powerful rock songs of all time. Watch below.

  1. I think they should have gotten Daughtry to perform, he fits Daltrey’s vocal style perfectly!

Pearl Jam were great, as were most of the other acts. I could’ve done without Tenacious D and Adam Sandler.

Why weren’t there any UK bands involved?

  4. There weren’t any American Bands in the Concert For New York.
