Linkin Park Art Popular
Maybe not as popular as the band that he’s in but Linkin Park’s Mike Shinoda has created a buzz with his paintings. Now he has his second major exhibit, called Glorious Excess, on Saturday (July 12) at the Japanese American National Museum in Los Angeles. Shinoda’s paintings are as good as any pop art you’ll see reputable museums, and sometimes can even verge on abstract expresionism (see below). If you’re in LA check it out. It runs til August 3rd.
