David Lee Roth: Not Your Ice Cream Man
The REAL Van Halen frontman came out to say it was not him who almost died from a peanut allergy in Ontario.
“The only thing I’m allergic to is criticism,” Dave told TMZ.com
The David Lee Roth imposter made such an impression with cops that pulled him over for speeding, they rushed him to the hospital for an allergic emergency and then came to check up on him later; and then the nurses that treated fake Dave went to a club with him later that night. He ended the night by getting up on-stage to sing “Ice Cream Man” for everyone. And, they say, sounded like the real thing.
The man’s motives for impersonating David Lee Roth are unknown… besides needing lots of personal attention.
