DOWNLOAD NOW: “L.E.S. Artistes” By Santogold

Santogold (pictured above), a Philadelphia-born, New Wave/Dub artist (born Santi White), released her self-titled debut album, recorded with producer John Hill, on April 29th in America. (Santogold was released on May 12th in the UK.) The album’s lead single, “L.E.S. Artistes,” is easily one of the best singles released thus far in 2008. It is a brilliant, catchy tune, and was a great way to introduce Santogold to the music-buying public. The song is available for download on iTunes.

Santogold has been getting quite a bit of airplay on music radio in the UK. She is currently on tour in Europe and will return to the States in early June, playing a show in Mountainview, CA on June 7th.
