Review Of Eric Burdon Live In New York City Is Now Online On Powerline A.D.
My review of Eric Burdon’s show last Sunday night, May 4th, at The Fillmore New York at Irving Plaza in New York City is now online at the main Powerline A.D. site.
While I had expected a basic classic rock show, Burdon (pictured above in a photo by Marianna Proestou) delivered something quite different. He was not shy about stating his political opinions. And by doing so, he made songs that are over 40 years old, such as The Animals’ “We Gotta Get Out Of This Place” and “House of the Rising Sun,” sound completely contemporary. It was a pretty stunning show to witness. To read the review, go to http://www.powerlinead.com/live.
