Thom Yorke Not a Fan of Greatest Hits Release

“What’s the purpose?” Yorke told The Word.

You knew this was going to happen. Former record company puts out a greatest hits cd without band’s permission and bands hates it.

Thom goes on about EMI’s release:

“There’s nothing we can do about it. The work is really public property now anyway, in my head at least. It’s a wasted opportunity in that if we’d been behind it, and we wanted to do it, then it might have been good.”

Maybe it’s time for Radiohead to do a cover of The Sex Pistols’ E.M.I.

  1. …or Lynyrd Skynyrd’s “Working for the MCA.” This is the first time I’ve ever agreed with Thom Yorke on anything…sorry, second time. I agree that he’s a creep!
