Live Concert By The Fratellis Is Featured Highlight Of XFM London’s Camden Crawl Coverage

Glasgow rockers The Fratellis (pictured above) performed at Koko in London’s Camden Town on Saturday night, April 19th, as the spotlight show in the 2008 edition of the annual Camden Crawl. The Camden Crawl takes place over a 24-hour period and features many bands playing at venues all over Camden Town. London’s alternative rock radio station XFM featured a good bit of coverage of the Camden Crawl over the weekend. The XFM London Web site has a page of highlights from the latest Camden Crawl at http://www.xfm.co.uk/listen-again-the-best-bits-of-xfms-camden-crawl. The page features audio of the best bits from the Crawl, including the full performance of The Fratellis, which are available for on-demand listening.

The Fratellis’ set at Koko included material from their debut album, Costello Music, as well as new material from their as-yet-unreleased sophomore effort. The set consisted of “Mabel,” “Flathead,” “Shameless,” “Black ‘n’ Blue Eyes,” “A Heady Tale,” “Chelsea Dagger,” “The Acid Jazz Singer,” “Henrietta,” “Tell Me A Lie,” “Whistle For The Choir,” “Baby Fratelli,” and “Milk & Money.” An interview with The Fratellis is also featured.
