Here We Go Again… Blah, Blah, Blah
David Coverdale made an appearance on U.K.’s version of The View, called Loose Women (view below). He was there to promote Whitesnake’s new album, Good to Be Bad, due out this month. He talked for nearly twenty minutes about the 80s, Whitesnake’s 30th Anniversary, and he referred to ex-wife, Tawny Kitaen, as “that video vamp.” Yes, she was the one in all the cheesey 80s Whitesnake videos (see her below to remind yourself).
The thing is, Coverdale looks better than he did 20 years ago. For one, he doesn’t have that ridiculously poofy 80s rocker hair.
Coverdale believes the newest release of Whitesnake will do well, but its been ten years since Whitesnake’s last album, Restless Heart, which Coverdale calls a glorified solo album.
Personally, I think he would find better success with trying to get the vocal spot in Led Zeppelin. There’s a vocal vacancy there, you know.

How about Billy Squire? He has a very Plant-like voice and he plays guitar! You wouldn’t need Page or Plant! And he could use the work.
