Sounds From Across The Pond: The Tides (Manchester, England)

I first heard this unsigned five-piece alt-indie band from Manchester, England earlier this week when I was on You Tube and checking out the videos of the musical performances on the Good Morning Manchester program on Manchester United’s TV station, MUTV. The Tides’ performance of their song “Something To Say” really stood out. I’m quite surprised that they are unsigned. They’ve got a pretty unique sound.

The Tides (pictured above in a photo by Karen McBride) consist of Liam Pennington (lead vocals), Mark Boswell (lead guitar), David Furnival (guitars), Sam Clancy (bass), and James Corry (drums).
