Behind-The-Scenes Footage Of The Hedrons In America 2007 Surfaces On You Tube

Powerline A.D.’s favorite all-female Scottish power-pop band, The Hedrons, have posted two videos on You Tube featuring footage shot on their tours of America last year. The videos are a good companion piece to the 2007 tour diary that The Hedrons’ drummer, Soup, wrote exclusively for Powerline A.D. earlier this year. (Soup’s tour diary can be found on the Powerline A.D. site at http://www.powerlinead.com/tour_diaries.)
The first video contains footage shot in New York City in April 2007 on the band’s first tour of North America. Included in that video are scenes from The Hedrons’ appearance at the Scottish-themed Dressed To Kilt fashion show. (The Hedrons, pictured above, left to right, at the Dressed To Kilt show, are: Rosie, lead guitarist; Soup, drummer; Gill, bassist; and Tippi, lead singer and rhythm guitarist.)
The second video features scenes shot during the band’s tour of the West Coast in November 2007. (The Hedrons played several support slots for Social Distortion on that West Coast tour.) That tour took place just after The Hedrons’ triumphant support slot for the Sex Pistols at Glasgow’s SECC.
