Not that song again…
No offense to the career of Aztec Camera. I really know no other songs from this band — and maybe I should! — but I can safely say that The Crying Scene is one of my most despised songs of the 90s. I always turned the channel when it came on the radio back then — and it came on a lot — but I had no idea who the band was. Now, with XM, I heard it today and it was immediately IDed as ACamera. Of course I changed the channel again but at least I knew who it was. Not sure what it is — the commercial, peppy chorus or the matter-of-fact structure of the song — but it does the trick, the negative trick. See if it annoys the hell out of you: Here’s the video.

The song is somewhat annoying. It sounds like a Crowded House B-side.
Still, the song is not nearly as annoying as the “music” of Aeroshit. :)
