Trick or Treat its a travesty!

Trick or Treat, the motion picture was a laughable disappointment upon release in the 80s with its less than favorable portrayal of heavy metal fans and the insulting casting of Family Ties’ Skippy in the lead role (the insult later repeated by Marky Marks placement in Rock Star). Skippys onscreen collection of Savatage, Possessed, Megadeth… Would of made for a much more suited soundtrack than Fastway and obviously the director almost nailed it, but someone must of saw it the other way upon soundtrack selection. Appearances by Gene Simmons and Ozzy (which the DVD releases cover exploits fully, the original VHS cover is much cooler) didnt help any as they were all washed up and watered down at that time. Sammy Curr would of mad a much bigger badass with a more bangin band. This piece of garbage is an excellent nostalgia flick for 80s exploitation. I must say I do enjoy it now if only merely for that fact alone.
